About Kelley
I am 22-year Army Veteran who has served in five overseas deployments throughout my career. I earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology and a Master of Arts Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Liberty University. On January 31, 2017, I earned the title of Licensed Professional Counselor after two years of working as an Associate Licensed Counselor.
I have worked with Magellan Inc. as a Military Family Life Counselor for two years in assignments at Redstone Arsenal, Alabama; Yokota AFB Japan; and Kaiserslautern and Baumholder, Germany. I have completed a five-year career as a Military and Family Life Counselor overseas in Germany. I have worked with Hospitals, Hospice, Methadone Clinics, Mental Health Centers, the Military, DHR, and private practice.
I am currently attending Liberty University for my Doctor of Education in Community Care Counseling: Marriage and Family Therapy program.
SESSIONS
I spend the first couple of sessions getting to know you. Building trust is important part of the professional relationship between you and me. I create a safe space for you to talk about issues that are preventing you from living a healthy life. After building trust, Goal setting is the next step of helping you live a healthy life. We will identify issues and create a plan to achieve said goals. Accomplishing goals is important and can bring you a sense of achievement and self-confidence, which will result in you living a healthy life.
